  3. I would like to present my new icon set. Icons in this archive are designed 
  4. to use with AGA-based machines. All my icons use first 16 pens from 
  5. Workbench palette. To use them you must set those colours and lock them. To 
  6. do this I use program PatchPens (I comes with Empy module player). You will 
  7. have to find a program like this (there is lots of such stuff on Aminet, I 
  8. hope ;-).

  10. Why new icons? Of course there is MagicWB and my icons are not compatybile 
  11. with it, so why do I do this?

  13. First of all, I started painting icons when nonody (of my friends nor I) knew
  14. about it. When I found MagicWB I had all icons for programs that I use. I 
  15. did not wanted to delete this stuff and install MagicWB (nice icons are in 
  16. MagicWB 8). My friends also would like to use my icons. So I´m developping 
  17. them.

  19. Second thing, that stopped me from installing MagicWB was (is) interlace.
  20. All of my icons use Pal Hires (or DblPal). You will safe some chip-ram.

  22. For my WB screen I use resolution 640x256 x 64 colours (recommended).
  23. You can use 32 colour (but never less then 32).

  25. Most of my icons will be available in April. There is one condition:
  26. I am waiting for you to tell me if you like my icons otherwise I will not 
  27. upload them because it is waste of bandwidth. So if you like my icons,

  33. My icons will be a shareware, but there will be not cut down version. Also 
  34. there will not be fixed fee for them, so don´t be afraid.

  36. And now look at this pictures (IFF-ILBM), those are screenshots of my 
  37. Workbench (64 colours - if you will use 32 colours icons will not change).
  38. So watch my Wb and let me know if you want my colorfull icons (If you do 
  39. find a program that will set first 16 colours of WB palette and lock them
  40. (look in Aminet).
